Host Families

At Intern Options Ireland we want to expose you to the full Irish experience, which many believe would be incomplete without a vibrant and animated home life. We encourage our host families to bring their guests to places of local and national interest and where possible include them in familiy events so we can optimise our interns appreciation for their community, while presenting them with the opportunity to culturally immerse themselves.

We have been placing students in the correct environments for over ten years now, and as such we have developed strong ties with our host families. Interns often establish a long term bond with their host families which lasts down through the years.

Depending on the interns desire for privacy or independence we can accommodate those who are entirely self-sufficient and those who may seek out a more immersed family environment. We ensure that our host families are dependable, friendly and have in place a suitable set of living circumstances that enable both our interns and their hosts to benefit as much as possible from this unique opportunity.
